Marcela earned both her Bachelor and her MBA in Accounting from Fordham University in New York City. She started her career at Ernst & Young where she spent 7 years building the foundation for her tax and accounting knowledge.  She later went on to lead smaller firms where she discovered her passion for small business tax and consulting.  She has extensive operational knowledge in various industries which allows her to be an instrumental and creative advisor to her clients. She's even a children's book author!

Marcela currently lives in Connecticut with her husband, son and two rescue pups.
